Summary privacy and data policy
When you are in the process of purchasing a ticket, we place cookies on your device and we collect specific data from you. We need this data and these cookies to ensure that your purchase goes right. We can e-mail you up to a maximum of three times following your purchase. We will also use the data we collect for analysis and marketing purposes.

If you do not wish to receive these e-mails or share your data with us, it will not be possible to purchase a ticket online. You can of course still reserve a ticket via telephone. All data is shared between The Movies and De FilmHallen and will not be sold to third parties.

Browsing data
We store your browsing data together with your personal data for analysis and marketing purposes. Did you not give us your permisson for this on our website? This data is still stored in the webshop. If you do not want this to happen, then you cannot use our webshop and we advise you to make a reservation via telephone. We make use of the same third parties in the webshop as we do on the website for user experience analysis.

E-mail address
We store your e-mail address and use it to send you your e-tickets. We also create a customer profile to recognize you when you return to the website and to keep track of which films you have seen. This means that we will use your e-mail address for analysis and marketing purposes.

Which e-mails can you expect
When you have purchased tickets online, we can send you a service e-mail prior to your visit. Such an e-mail can contain practical information about your visit, filmtips and other offers to make your visit as pleasant as possible.

After your visit, we can send you a last service e-mail to ask if you want to share how you have experienced your visit. This e-mail can also contain filmtips and offers to inspire you for a future visit.

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we send you an average of 1 e-mail per week filled with filmtips, news and offers.

Cinevillepas number
Are you purchasing tickets with your Cinevillepas? We store the passnumber(s) so you can check in your tickets. We save the passnumbers for administrative purposes and for analysis and marketing purposes. Prior to your visit, we can send you an e-mail as a reminder to check in on time.

Cookies
We place cookies to recognize you when you return to our website and to fit the website to match your profile. We also place cookies that are necessary for the correct functioning of the webshop. If you do not accept cookies, you cannot use our webshop. You can of course make a reservation via telephone.

Postal code and house number
In some case we may ask for your postal code and house number in the webshop. We use this data for data analysis and marketing purposes. We will not send you any mail.

Age
In some cases we may ask you for your age. For example when you try to purchase tickets for a film that has an age restriction. We store your age so that you wont have to fill this in again when you return to the website. We can also use your age for data-analysis and marketing purposes.

Telephone number
In some cases we will ask for your telephone number in the webshop. We use this data for data-analysis and marketing purposes. We will not send you any messages without your permission.

Transaction data
We store the transaction data of your purchase (what, when and how you make your purchase). We need this data for our financial administration and we also use this for data analysis and marketing purposes.

We do not use personal financial data such as IBAN numbers or creditcard data for analysis and marketing purposes. We store this information in a highly secured database owned by our paymentprovider Multisafepay. We can access this information for financial and administrative purposes only.
